Tag/Day 6.2 nach der/after GRAND PRINCESS in Amsterdam, The Netherlands - Delft, The Netherlands - Brüssel/Brussels, Beligum

Nach dem Museumsbesuch lacht mich dieser Stand an.



After our visit in the museum this stand attracted my attention.

The fish specialties looked tempting.



Die Fischspezialitäten sehen einfach verführerisch aus.

Ich blieb bei meinem ursprünglichen Plan.



I stayed with my original plan.

I just wanted to have a fresh young herring.



Nur einen frischen jungen Matjes.

Für 2,50 EUR ein leckerer Snack.



For 2.50 EUR a nice snack.

As it was beautiful weather we used the occasion to walk.



Da schönes Wetter ist, nutzen wir die Chance und laufen.

Und fotografieren, was wir schon zig Mal fotografiert haben, aber immer wieder schön ist.



And took pictures of those places we had already thousands of images of but it is always lovely here.

The last time the Royal Palace was hidden behind a construction fence.



Beim letzten Mal war der Königspalast hinter einem Bauzaun versteckt.

Und dieses Mal sehen wir doch ein wenig mehr davon.



And this time we saw some more of it.





ASIADAM should be the name of the next ship of Holland America after EURODAM.



ASIADAM müsste doch nach EURODAM das nächste Schiff von Holland America heißen - oder???

Wir gehen ins China-Town und in den Rotlichtbezirk. Da konnten wir schließlich das letzte Mal im letzten Jahr mit Brunos Eltern nicht hin, als wir in Amsterdam waren.



We went to China-Town and the Red-Light-District. There we could not deal with Bruno's parents the last time we were in Amsterdam last year.

Through the windows, I could see that there were plenty of Chinese sitting in the restaurant Oriental City.



Durch die Fenster des Restaurants Oriental City sehe ich lauter Chinesen als Gäste.

Ich muss rein und werde prompt mit fünf Speisekarten konfrontiert.



I must go in and got five menu cards.

But we only wanted to have few Dim Sum. Checking the sauces which came first, I knew that we went to an authentic place to have lunch.



Aber wir wollen nur Dim Sum. Und die Saucen, die vorab kommen, zeigen mir: ein authentisches Restaurant.

Hmm... lecker...



Yummy...





After that we need a coffee - but will the offer real coffee if you need t be at least 18 to get in?



Danach brauchen wir erst mal einen Kaffee - aber ob es hier richtigen Kaffee gibt, wenn man mindestens 18 sein muss, bevor man rein darf?

Wir gehen lieber hierher.



We liked it more to go to this place.

And I got my Iced Americano.



Und ich bekomme meinen Iced Americano.

Als wir am Hanf-Museum vorbeikommen, meint Bruno, dass es komisch daraus riecht.



When we passed the Hash Marihuana Hemp Musuem Bruno said that it smelled strange inside.

Here we should be fine to get high, and we let it be.



Hier wären wohl richtig, wenn wir noch mal high werden müssen, aber wir lassen es.

Und laufen lieber durch die Gassen des Rotlichtbezirks.



And prefered to walk through the narrow lanes of the Red Light District.









There are not so many occassions to take such great photos - so we did.



Solche Gelegenheit um sich fotografieren zu lassen, kann man kaum auslassen.

Ist das nicht schön hier???

Soon we were back at Central Station.



Bald sind wir wieder am Hauptbahnhof.

Hier ist zwischenheitlich das MintHotel neu entstanden. Vielleicht auch eine Alternative in der Nähe zum Cruise Terminal.



Here meanwhile MintHotel was newly opened. Maybe an alternative as it is close to the cruise terminal.

Last year there was only a giant construction fence.



Letztes Jahr war alles Bauzaun.

Die letzten Meter wollen wir mit der Straßenbahn fahren. Wir könnten ja auch bis dahin laufen und mit der 26 fahren...



The last mile we wanted to take the tram. We could walk over and take the 26...

But we preferred to stay.



Aber wir bleiben lieber hier.

Das ist das blöde an der Linie 25: sie hält in Richtung Cruise Terminal eben nicht vor dem Bahnhofsgebäude.



The uncovenience is that 25 heading the cruise terminal does not stop in front of the terminal building.

Only trains coming from the cruise terminal all stop in front of the train station terminal.



Nur die Züge, die vom Cruise Terminal kommen, halten direkt am Bahnhofsgebäude.

Auch die 26 zum Cruise Terminal hält direkt am Bahnhofsgebäude.



Also 26 for the cruise terminal just stops in front of the train station terminal.

But finally our 25 came.



Aber da kommt endlich unsere 25.
