Alfredo's Pizzeria is a new fascility on GRAND PRINCESS.

Behind the glass, they prepare your pizza in front of your eyes.

The choice is very limited but there is no cover-charge.

Just perfect for our next cruise on NORWEGIAN JADE out of Venice.

Just beautiful.

I felt great there. By the way: even I had my NCL-T-shirt on: I was asked again for some directions. I think that I better print a shirt: "I am not a crew, just a passenger"...

Ich glaube ich lasse mir lieber T-Shrts mit "I am not crew, just a passenger" aufdrucken...

Bruno bekommt hier auch seine Pizza.

Here Bruno got his pizza.

With mussels and baby-shrimps.

Mit Muscheln und Baby-Shrimps.

Mir fehlt noch etwas.

Something was missing.

I got some Oregano to add myself, but still, something was missing.

When I asked for some Basil he ran immediately to the galley and got me some. Now it looks like with Da Michele in Naples. Regarding the taste of the pizza it was the best we got on any ship... but it was still not the same like with Da Michele in Naples or Baffeto in Rome...

When I asked for the Soda-Pass, it was, of course, no problem. I did not need to walk to an open-air bar by myself. But with 7.00 USD plus 15% higher than the others... We did not want the souvenir cup, but apparently, they had too many on board... At home we need to add rooms to our house to store all the cups...

By the way we had from the very first moment a great team which set the level and my future expectations extremely high: Royston from India. Very very attentive. As soon as my Diet Coke was empty, he got me a new one. And as friendly and attentive: exactly how I like it.

Andrija from Serbia.

Our Pizza-baker Goce from Macedonia. This was really precision landing. Exactly how I like it: feeling well and service from the first moment.

You find here a sanitizer dispenser, but you were not forced to use them.

Also very nice the loose tea assortment they offered in the International Café.

Always small goodies but no 24-hours-venue as described on their website.

But there was not only sweet goodies but also hearty.

Now somebody in San Francisco will laugh out loud. We repurchased a new coffee card... The coffee and the coffee machine on OCEAN PRINCESS maybe was not representative. But anyhow Bruno liked it here more, and he bought another one which he can also use on DIAMOND PRINCESS. For 15 coffee specialties: 29.00 USD plus 15% (2011). For those who like to calculate the break-even-point: one cappuccino is 2.50 USD plus 15%. By the way, the Tirami Su here was really great. I did not like a regular sized dessert with my dinner, but this little glass was excellent.

For the Life Drill we had to show up at Crown Grill. The crew there was very attentive and directed guests to vacant seats and made somehow new seat available. Just at the end, you need to show that you are able to put the life vest on.

And as always with Princess, they checked your presence by a barcode scanner but also told that you must have your card with you in a real case of emergency. They need to control who is off the ship and in which rescue boat. By the way: this cover is a gift from a German cruise-friend marcookie because Celebrity was unable to supply although we were Concierge Class guests. Even Bruno's coffee card fit inside.
